Condition Monitoring Centre
Welcome to Gough & Gilmour's exciting new Condition Monitoring Program AnalysisMATE. This program is geared towards predicting potential trouble in your equipment through fluid analysis. This program used in conjunction with your regular maintenance program can be a very powerful tool.
What can AnalysisMATE oil analysis program do for you?
Reduce Maintenance Costs
- Repair before failure
- Reduce component cost
- Reduce labour costs
- Achieve full component life
Increase Productivity
- Less down time
- Less unscheduled workshop usage
Give you instant access to your information
A significant improvement to the Gough & Gilmour's oil analysis program is access to the powerful new internet based software equipment management system AnalysisMATE that is now available to Gough & Gilmour customers.
Some of the unique features of this software include:
- On-Line Label Printing
- Graphical Trending
- Management Reporting
- Asset Register
- Lubricant Survey
- E-mail Alerts as soon as new samples are available in your account
- Free historical data transfer
Diagnostic Tests that we provide
- Wear analysis - monitors machine wear by detecting, identifying, and assessing the amounts and types of metal wear elements found in used oils.
- Oil condition analysis - identifies loss of lubricating properties by quantifying combustion by-products (soot, oxidation, sulphation, & nitration products).
- Chemical & physical tests - detects the presence of unwanted fluids (water, fuel antifreeze) in the oil.
- Particle quantification (PQ) - detects ferrous debris in the oil regardless of particle size.
- Viscosity - the oil's thickness or resistance to flow; used to check fuel dilution, incorrect top-up oil grade, and oil transfer between compartments.
Results of each of these tests help our interpreter identify warning signs that can indicate if something is wrong inside your equipment. The earlier these problems are detected, the easier (and less expensive) they are to repair.
Often, a single sample cannot tell the whole story, but by keeping accurate records of regular oil sampling, our interpreter can look for trends in your oil analysis, hence seeing a bigger picture of what is occurring inside your machine.
Gough & Gilmour has everything you need to take an oil sample. The sampling process is quick and easy, and should always be taken when fluids are at operating temperature. When taking a sample, remember to fill out the sample bottle label very carefully as this information is as important as the oil in the bottle. Without a correctly filled label, accurate diagnosis of the data is near impossible.
Condition monitoring through Oil analysis is key to any good preventative maintenance program.
